Activation sur postes multi-utilisateurs

Voici une procédure technique à destination des enseignant·e·s et assistant·e·s, pour permettre l’activation sur les postes d’atelier.

L’activation d’Ableton Live pose problème sur les postes d’atelier. En effet, l’activation (qui se fait via internet) n’a d’effet que sur la session utilisateur courante.

L’article indique ceci:

Copy the folder and contents of

/User/Library/Application Support/Ableton/[Live XXX]/Unlock/
to
/Library/Application Support/Ableton/[Live XXX]/
(where XXX is the Live version number)

Voilà ce que ça signifie en clair:

Dans le compte de l’utilisateur qui a activé Ableton, il faut repérer ce dossier:

 ~/Library/Application Support/Ableton/Live 9.7.7/Unlock/

Ce dossier « Unlock » contient un fichier « Unlock.cfg », c’est là que se trouve l’information de licence.

Il faut copier ce dossier dans la /Library/Application Support/ globale (pas dans le dossier utilisateur, mais à la racine du disque).

Le chemin sera donc:

/Library/Application Support/Ableton/Live 9.7.7/Unlock/Unlock.cfg

Ensuite, quand un utilisateur lance Ableton Live pour la première fois, ce fichier sera copié dans son propre dossier ~/Library/Application Support/

Attention: si un utilisateur avait déjà ce dossier présent, il faut l’effacer afin qu’il soit recréé au prochain lancement, avec le bon fichier « Unlock.cfg ».
